Profiles
A profile identifies the person whose chart you are making. It is separate from your fate sign-in.
1. Create or change a profile
- Choose the profile chip in the composer, then add a profile. Enter a display name, birth date, solar or lunar calendar, gender and time zone.
- Enter the known birth time; choose Unknown if the hour is unknown. Check lunar leap month and the birth location’s time zone before saving. Correct any form errors.
- Modify existing details in the profile panel. Free allows 1 profile, Plus 3, and Pro has no limit; upgrade if you need to add more.
2. Choose who this question is for
- Choose a profile before starting, or @ mention an unambiguous display name. A single profile is used directly.
- With several profiles and no name, answer the question about who the reading is for. If a name cannot be matched, choose an existing profile or add one.
3. History, deletion and local privacy
Browse history by time or profile in the sidebar. Deleting a profile needs confirmation; its readings remain in the unassigned group.
Downgrading keeps existing profiles usable and restricts adding more. Switching fate accounts preserves all local content and model configuration for the same macOS user; it does not isolate data by fate account.
Ordinary historical follow-ups use saved facts rather than recalculating from changed birth details. Start a new reading to use new details. Clear all local data under Settings > Privacy & data; signing out does not clear it.
