By using fate (the website heyfate.ai and the fate desktop app) you agree to these terms.
What fate is
fate is a divination tool for culture, entertainment and self-reflection: it draws charts, cards and hexagrams on your computer and has the AI model you choose interpret them. Readings are for reference only and are not medical, legal, financial or crisis advice.
Your account
Use an email address you can receive mail at, and keep your device and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Third-party model services
When you use a ChatGPT or Claude subscription or your own API key, you also agree to that provider's terms, and the provider charges any fees under its own rules. fate is not responsible for the availability, content or billing of third-party services.
Plans and payment
Free includes 1 single-method reading a day. Plus and Pro prices and features are as shown on the pricing page; they renew monthly or yearly and can be cancelled at any time, remaining active until the end of the current period. Buying, renewal, cancellation and refunds are covered by the Paid Services Agreement (https://heyfate.ai/en/paid-terms/).
Acceptable use
Do not use fate for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, to disrupt the service or to get around usage limits.
Disclaimer
fate is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, fate.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or change the service; significant changes will be announced on the website or in the app. You may stop using fate and ask us to delete your account at any time.
